Walk up to the door with a listed iPhone or Apple Watch and the Aqara U400 unlocks on UWB, then still has Home Key, fingerprint, a keypad, and a physical key if the phone stays in a bag. It is a Matter-over-Thread deadbolt aimed at single-cylinder doors.

The official Aqara US page calls it an Aliro enabled lock and says UWB unlocking will extend to more devices across different ecosystems. Aqara Official on 2 March 2026 said Aliro NFC via Samsung Wallet is live. Walk-up needs a Thread-enabled Apple Home hub plus a listed iPhone or Watch.
