The Aqara W200 looks like a 4-inch wall thermostat and then quietly becomes the house’s Zigbee hub, Matter controller, and Thread border router. Aqara says it works with about 85% of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and PTAC units.
Line-voltage, millivolt, and 0–10 VDC are out. No C-wire means the separate Aqara adapter. Adaptive Temperature needs iOS 26 and a home hub such as Apple TV or HomePod running software version 26 or later. Clean Energy Guidance needs an iPhone or iPad on 26 or later and is contiguous US only.
