The Tesla Universal Wall Connector is a hardwired Level 2 EVSE with a NACS handle and an integrated J1772 adapter on one wall unit. Official specs list up to 48 A / 11.5 kW at 240 V on a 60 A breaker, with a 24 ft cable.
Tesla’s Energy Library says to hardwire the branch circuit to a disconnect or circuit breaker and not to install a cord-and-plug connection. The panel must support a dedicated hardwired branch. This is not the Gen 3 Mobile Connector or Tesla’s Outlet Adapter.
